SCHOOL CLUBS

DREAMS stands for Diversity Racial Equity At Middle School. All three years, I dedicated my time to planning events for this club. Our most popular events are the annual Culture Festival, which embraces different cultures, and the Holi Event, (Indian) which celebrates the beginning of spring.

I spent time with the sixth and seventh graders, teaching them the right ways to treat others as well as themselves. I taught them lessons on honesty, the importance of identity, the effects of cyberbullying/bullying, being a bystander, etc.
